I was tasked with branding a fleet of innovative and progressive laundromats all over the Boise area. There are several older laundromats around the city that solidify the stigma of laundromats. They are normally seen as a necessary evil and a drudgery. They can be cumbersome in that the machines are older, take a lot of time and money and questionable as far as being clean and sanitary. I had to focus on educating the clientele on what laundromats could and should be and show how much we care about the community, clientele health and their financial well-being.
These laundromats are faster, have the highest value, clean, boast friendly staff, are extremely knowledgeable and safe, most convenient, most options, best progressive technological equipment, free soap, free sanitizer and most open to developing long lasting relationships and support in the community. They are most customer centric and have a very comfortable atmosphere. They have the fastest, most reliable and most efficient machines
We had to move towards ridding communities of that stigma and bring an experience to the table that is extraordinary when it comes to visiting and utilizing a “laundromat”.
